What is endometrium regeneration?

For a successful pregnancy, not only high-quality embryos are needed, but also a healthy and mature woman's endometrium. It ensures the implantation of the embryo and the beginning of a pregnancy. Asherman's syndrome, chronic endometritis, polyps, endometrial hypoplasia, uterine synechiae, low endometrial thickness are the most common causes of infertility.
The endometrium is a dynamic, continually regenerating tissue, a unique model of physiological angiogenesis in adult women.Doctors and biotechnologists at GOOD CELLS are using an innovative and effective treatment for endometrial renewal.
As a part of the treatment program, we offer endometrial regeneration using autologous stem cells. After the renewal of the endometrium's thickness and functionality, the program can be continued by natural conception or in vitro fertilization/IVF.

The treatment is indicated for:

women who have experienced several failed IVF programs due to uterine factor; women diagnosed with Asherman's syndrome (to stage III); women diagnosed with female infertility caused by uterine hypoplasia.

What can you expect?

The treatment is based on using native (autologous) mesenchymal stem cells. The potential of our laboratory lets us grow a required quantity of cells in less than a month! In the next cycle (after the sailing of biomaterial), we can perform the endometrial regeneration procedure and help you reach the desired pregnancy using IVF or natural origin.

The treatment process

1

Consultation with a manager

Contact our managers with no obligations on your side. At this step, we gather your medical information and confirm the diagnosis. After that, we'll arrange a free online or offline consultation with the doctor.

2

Online/offline consultation with a doctor

After making a decision, you can start planning a visit to the clinic. The treatment is performed in our clinical bases in Kyiv, Ukraine. You'll need to visit the clinic three times during the whole treatment: for the consultation, sampling of the endometrial tissue, and the injection. The latter usually takes place on the 21st day after the sampling.

3

First visit to the clinic

The first visit to the clinic for diagnosis verification includes general diagnostics, analysis, and checkup.

4

Second visit to the clinic

During your second visit to us, we take the material sampling using endometrial biopsy in the proliferative phase of the cycle. It is a painless procedure that lasts less than two hours.

5

Stem cell product

After the biopsy, our team of biotechnologists prepares the therapeutic dose of your own stem cells. In our laboratory, we will cultivate your stem cells from the sample of endometrial tissue, grow the required quantity of cells, test, and produce the stem cell product for your treatment. Usually, the production term is about 21 days.

6

Injection of the cellular product, the regeneration phase

The procedure takes place at the beginning of the menstrual cycle (proliferative phase). During the procedure, we return your own stem cells (cultivated and tested) back into the uterine cavity, thereby stimulating the regeneration process. The process is painless and takes up to 2 hours.

7

Fertilization

Depending on your medical case, in the absence of other causes of infertility by both partners, pregnancy can occur in one cycle naturally or as a result of IVF, even if previously you had unsuccessful attempts.
You can also choose the IVF program with your embryos from our partner, Ilaya clinic. The same fertilization specialist can accompany this program.

Feedbacks from our patients

Learn why patients choose an innovative method of endometrial regeneration by GOOD CELLS!

“My husband and I have been planning a pregnancy since 2002. It did not happen so we went to the doctors. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. We tried many different techniques, but the problem was with the endometrium and then we decided to use the stem cells!Today I am pregnant and I know that this decision was fateful for us."

2019

Woman, 38, birth of daughter

Uterine factor infertility since 2004

“I had 3 ectopic pregnancies and removed Fallopian tubes, 5 mm endometrium which did not grow further. We received treatment since 2015 and wanted a child since 2008. I really wanted to give birth without surrogacy. We didn't give up and won together with the doctor. The main thing is to not be afraid and believe, try something new. Thanks to my doctor and husband for the support."

FAQ

  • Is endometrial regeneration a panacea for female infertility?

Unfortunately, no, not a panacea. The use of endometrial stem cells according to the GOOD CELLS method allows to restore the functionality of the endometrium as an important part of the reproductive process. But if pregnancy doesn't occur due to damage to the embryos, then the regeneration of the endometrium will not work, and this treatment will not be recommended.

  • Can using my own endometrial stem cells lead to cancer in the future?

No, it can't. It's a scientifically proven fact that this type of stem cell doesn't have the potential for tumorigenesis (transformation into tumors). It is important to understand that your own stem cells are an integral part of you. They "repair" your endometrium on a daily basis — this is a natural process. We only increase the regeneration capacity.

  • Will I be able to get pregnant naturally if I have tried several IVFs before?

The chances depend on your medical history. It is still possible, but you have to understand this is possible only if the reproductive material of both partners is of high quality.

  • Can I use embryos that were created in another clinic for transfer after the endometrial regeneration program?

    Yes, you can.

  • Can I have an IVF program and perform an embryo transfer at another clinic?

Yes, you can. In this case, we will coordinate IVF and endometrial regeneration programs at the physician level for the best results.

  • Can endometrial regeneration help in the diagnosis of endometriosis?

Unfortunately, no. The use of endometrial stem cells can stimulate the endometrium to grow and function in a situation where the endometrium does not grow and does not perform its functions. Endometriosis is a disease characterized by an excess of the endometrium.
